About Me

I first learned about Reiki at a weekend meditation retreat in the fall of 2016, where I received my first Usui Reiki session.  After receiving the Reiki at that time, I was drawn to learn more about this special modality.  At the time, I was particularly interested in self-Reiki for my health issues.  In December of 2016, I began my journey of Reiki training.  

 

About a month after attending Reiki I and II classes, I was on a ski club ski trip.  One of the ladies on the ski trip had neck surgery just six weeks prior to the trip.  Somehow her doctor told her it would be okay to go on a ski trip!  While on the ski trip, she fell on the slope.  A couple of days later, when she told me about her fall, she told me that it did not seem like she was hurt where she had surgery, but she was still a bit concerned.  It had only been a month since I was attuned for Reiki II, but I felt compelled to let her know that I had been trained in this modality and if she wanted, I could give her some Reiki later that day, if for nothing else, at least to relax her.  Neither one of us really thought that anything would happen with the Reiki anyway. I was surprised that I did not feel nervous about doing Reiki on her and I already 'just knew' which positions I wanted to do on her.  We could only find a chair for the Reiki, so she had to sit up.  Well to our amazement, she felt the Reiki energy in her body, so much so, that we ended the session early because she felt so energized!  We both marveled at what had happened!

 

So now it has been almost only 3 years since I began my journey with Reiki and Christ Heart Reiki® brings even more to the healing energies than I could ever have imagined!
